The North Carolina Geocaching Organization (NCGO) is an umbrella organization that
1) Serves to rapidly fix issues with land managers with folks elected from across the state;
2) Organizes social events across the state for cachers to meet each other;
3) Hosts and facilitates bringing large (inter)national events to NC. We have hosted two GeoWoodstock Mega Events (2007 in Raleigh and 2017 in Waynesville) with attendees in the thousands…. and are always open to ideas to help host others!
